Who needs foot care nursing?
If you are living with one or more of the following conditions, you are at greater risk for lower leg and foot complications, such as ulcers, chronic wounds, or amputations.
Diabetes
Heart & circulation issues
Respiratory conditions
Kidney insufficiency/failure
Nervous system disruptions
How are feet affected?
They are the farthest from your main systems. When there are disruptions to the body's regular functioning, issues can occur in the feet first.
If you experience loss of sensation or vision impairment, you may not notice potential problems right away.

Comprehensive lower limb assessment
Diabetic foot risk assessment
Develop an individualized care plan
Health education/instruction
Foot treatment (nail trim/filing, callus reduction, corn removal, fungal reduction, ingrown nails, offloading pressure points, etc.)
Lotion and massage
Follow-up Visit (45 mins)
General lower limb assessment
Review of care plan and progress
Health education/instruction
Foot treatment (nail trim/filing, callus reduction, corn removal, fungal reduction, ingrown nails, offloading pressure points, etc.)
Lotion and massage
Follow-up visits recommended every 6-8 weeks.
